School Summary

Indiana Connections Academy (INCA) is a tuition-free, virtual public charter school for students in grades K-12 throughout Indiana. INCA is authorized by Ball State University and governed by an independent Board of Directors. The school is operated by Indiana Connections Academy, a nonprofit corporation, through a contract with Connections Academy of Indiana, LLC, to provide its educational program and other services.

The school was founded in 2010, as part of the Indiana Department of Education Virtual School Pilot Program, and became a charter school in the fall of 2011. INCA is accredited by the North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement, an accrediting division of Advanc

ED.

Position Summary

Home based work with occasional work days from our office in Indianapolis, IN, the student services administrative coordinator is responsible for daily student facing tasks of the school such as contacting families interested in our school or assisting with enrollment, receiving visitors, assisting the principal and teachers with administrative tasks, filing and other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities
  • Booking venues and leading school events;
  • Generating reports;
  • Dual credit textbook manager;
  • Vendor/ hotel booking coordinator;
  • Enrollment specialist;
  • Manager of pre-enrollment meetings
  • Manages school house banner;
  • State testing administrative assistant lead;
  • Maintain the office;
  • Member of safety committee;
  • Marketing liaison;
  • Social media updates;
  • Manage Eventbrite for school events; and
  • Additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and web-based applications is essential
  • Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
  • Good interpersonal skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Customer focused approach
  • High degree of flexibility
  • Demonstrated ability to work well in fast paced team environment
