Job Description
Jennings County High School is seeking a dedicated and passionate Family and Consumer Science Teacher specializing in Culinary Arts to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts and a commitment to educating high school students in the principles of nutrition, food preparation, culinary techniques, and kitchen safety. This role involves creating an engaging curriculum that encourages student creativity and practical skills essential for personal and professional success in the culinary field.
Contract: One hundred eighty one (185) contract days
Salary: District scale.
Evaluation: Performance of this job will be evaluated by the Principal in accordance with the provisions of the Board's policies and state law.
Education And/Or
Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in educational area of major study.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Valid Indiana teaching certificate in area of study.
