Overview
Adjunct Faculty - Physics and Earth-Space Science at the University of Indianapolis invites applications. This is an in-person teaching position located in Indianapolis, IN.
Responsibilities- Teach and evaluate up to 14 hours of introductory Physics and/or Earth-Space science courses in one academic year, using inquiry-based, learner-centered methods.
- Master's degree required;
Ph.D. preferred - Ability to teach introductory Physics and/or Earth-Space science
- Ability to teach introductory Earth science
- Ability to teach physical geography
- Ability to teach geohazards preferred
- Desire to engage in student-centered teaching
- Familiarity with active learning techniques preferred
The department seeks candidates willing to teach in-person at the University of Indianapolis. Experience with inquiry-based learning and a commitment to student-centered teaching are valued.
