Manchester University is seeking an enthusiastic and relationship-driven Senior Admissions Counselor & Transfer Coordinator to join our Admissions team. In this role, you’ll recruit traditional undergraduate students within an assigned territory while leading transfer recruitment and coordination efforts. You’ll build meaningful relationships with students, families, and community college partners, guiding students through every step of the enrollment process. As a senior member of the team, you’ll also mentor colleagues, strengthen transfer pathways, and contribute to a positive, student-centered recruitment culture that supports the mission and values of Manchester University.

What

You'll Do:
  • Lead transfer recruitment efforts, cultivating partnerships with community colleges and supporting articulation agreements.
  • Recruit traditional undergraduate students within an assigned territory through travel, presentations, and personalized outreach.
  • Guide prospective students and families through the admissions process—from inquiry to enrollment—ensuring a positive and supportive experience.
  • Oversee transfer credit evaluations and coordinate with financial aid, registrar, and advising staff to ensure seamless transitions.
  • Communicate regularly with prospective students via email, phone, text, and in-person meetings.
  • Participate in on-campus recruitment events and represent Manchester at transfer fairs and professional conferences.
  • Provide mentorship to admissions colleagues and contribute to a collaborative, student-centered team environment.
What You'll Need:
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with experience in public speaking or presentations.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic team.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with CRM systems and social media platforms.
  • Bilingual or multilingual abilities (especially Spanish) preferred.
