Oak Farm Montessori School is an infant through high school program with the mission to “provide a Montessori environment that inspires students to reach their potential through meaningful work”.
We are seeking a candidate for an Upper Elementary Dual Language Immersion Co-Teacher fluent in Spanish for the upcoming school year. This teacher will work with a Lead teacher in a 9 to 12-year mixed‑age classroom (4th, 5th, & 6th grade) with approximately 24 students.

OFMS is situated on 150+ acres of partially wooded land on the edge of the small town of Avilla, minutes from Fort Wayne, Indiana. We are dually accredited by the American Montessori Society (AMS) and the Independent Schools Association of the Central States (ISACS).
ResponsibilitiesWork collaboratively with a Lead teacher in a mixed-age Upper Elementary classroom (4th–6th grade) to support student learning in a dual language immersion environment.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree with at least two years of experience teaching in an elementary setting.
- Montessori Certification and/or experience in a dual language immersion setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong collaboration, communication, compassion, and competence working with children within a child-centered philosophy.
- Good instincts with safety, supervision, time management, and teaching responsibility.
- Preferred bilingual candidate in English and Spanish.
- Lifelong learner with a drive to inspire children and be inspired.
