Culver Academies is a private boarding school that educates its students for leadership and responsible citizenship. Culver Academies, serving approximately 830 students, seeks a full‑time World Languages and Cultures faculty position effective January 2026 or August 2026.

Qualified candidates must hold at least a BA in Spanish. Experience teaching at the secondary‑school level is preferred. Teachers with experience teaching in a constructivist environment or designing proficiency‑based curricula and integrated performance assessments are strongly encouraged to apply. Responsibilities related to curriculum and level leadership are possible for a qualified, experienced candidate.

Teach all levels from introductory through Advanced Placement in a 4×4 intensive block schedule. Teachers in the department teach two sections concurrently, with an average total student load of 32 per term of Spanish classes. All faculty and staff commit to contributing to the athletic or residential life program of the school as personal interest and institutional needs dictate. Educators routinely discuss practice, observe one another, co‑design curriculum, and teach each other what they know about teaching and learning.

The successful candidate will collaborate with the Spanish team and the multilingual team to design the student experience.
