Part-Time Spanish Instructor

We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Part-Time Spanish Instructor to join our educational team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to inspire students through engaging instruction and culturally rich curriculum development. The ideal candidate will bring a lively teaching style, strong communication skills, and experience working with children and adults.

• Deliver engaging in-person Spanish language lessons
• Develop, update, and adapt curriculum materials to meet diverse learner needs and educational standards
• Incorporate educational technology and learning technology tools to create interactive and effective instruction
• Assess student progress through assignments, quizzes, and participation, providing constructive feedback
• Collaborate with faculty colleagues on curriculum design, instructional strategies, and program improvements
• Conduct research on best practices in language instruction and integrate innovative methods into teaching
• Support students from various cultural backgrounds by fostering an inclusive classroom environment
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student engagement in the online training platform

Qualifications:

• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is essential
• Proven experience in instruction within education contexts
• Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development and educational technology integration
• Familiarity with LMS platforms such as Blackboard or similar online training platforms
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with students from diverse backgrounds
• Strong research skills, with the ability to publish in peer-reviewed journals preferred
• Prior college faculty or university teaching experience highly desirable

Pay: $38.00 - $40.00 per hour
