Judge Direct Placement is seeking a Controls Engineer for a Fortune 100 company!
** This role requires heavy travel**
Pay range: $/yr - $/yr (actual pay based on skills and experience).
Responsibilities- Troubleshoots all mechanical and electrical issues including but not limited to PLCs, various motion controls, multi-axis servos, SCADA systems, AC/DC drives, electronics, PLC to PC interface systems, pneumatics and photoelectric controls.
- Reviews existing processes and recommends innovative methods for improving utilization of equipment and other resources.
- Communicates and reviews operational performance of production equipment and develops solutions to improve productivity.
- Develops, maintains, programs, and troubleshoots automation and control system solutions to support production of PLC’s and HMI’s.
- Oversees electrical panel design, layout, and wiring schematics.
- Writes equipment specifications & flow charts.
- Works cross-functionally with engineering team to ensure maximum efficiency of production equipment.
- Participates in Continuous Improvement activities by recommending improvements.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technology.
- 3+ years of related experience in a manufacturing environment.
- PLC/HMI programming & troubleshooting experience REQUIRED.
- Allen‑Bradley, Siemens S7, and GE Fanuc PLC experience preferred.
- RS Logix & Wonderware software experience preferred.
- Ability to work in a high‑paced environment.
