Lead the analysis, design, and stamped documentation for industrial structural systems, focusing on crane‑supporting structures, mezzanines, and engineered safety systems. Must be a licensed professional engineer and work on‑site in Nappanee, IN.

Salary range: $125,000 – $145,000.

• Analyze and design crane‑supporting structures, including runway beams, columns, connections, and foundations.
• Design mezzanine systems, including gravity and lateral members, connections, and serviceability checks.
• Design engineered fall‑protection and safety systems in accordance with ANSI/OSHA requirements.
• Prepare and seal structural calculations and construction documents compliant with IBC and applicable codes.
• Use structural analysis software (RISA‑3D or similar) to verify designs.
• Collaborate with project management, sales, fabrication, and installation teams to support successful project delivery.

• Professional Engineer (PE) license required and must be maintained.
• Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering.
• 3–5 years of structural design experience, preferably in industrial or heavy‑load applications.
• Working knowledge of relevant codes including AISC, ASCE 7, IBC, CMAA, OSHA, and ANSI.
• Experience designing steel structures, crane systems, and mezzanines preferred.

• Proficiency with structural analysis software (RISA‑3D or equivalent).
• Ability to prepare, seal, and interpret engineering documents and calculations.
• Strong attention to detail, safety focus, and professional communication skills.

• On‑site at PWI in Nappanee, Indiana.
• Minimal travel for jobsite visits as needed.
