In this role, you will take on a key position in the build‑up of test capabilities for electric products, influencing test strategies, methodologies and tools while enjoying a high degree of autonomy within a supportive and knowledgeable team. As Alfdex continues its expansion into electric solutions, you will join a growing R&D team and take on a central role at our R&D Test Center in Landskrona. The electric products are currently under development and planned to enter production during 2026, which means you will be involved early in defining how testing and validation should be structured going forward. You will work with both embedded software testing and system‑level testing of the product as a whole, with a strong focus on electrical functionality, robustness and compliance.

Your responsibilities include:

• Developing and maintaining automated test frameworks and test environments for embedded and electric systems
• Designing, executing and documenting tests for embedded software and complete products, including black‑box testing
• Developing and maintaining measurement and control systems in the test lab, including test rigs, sensors and automation
• Validating test results against specifications and requirements, and continuously improving test methods and ways of working

We are looking for an independent and structured test engineer who enjoys working in a technical, hands‑on environment and is comfortable taking responsibility in an organization where everything is not yet fully defined. You have several years of experience working with embedded software testing and test systems for physical products, preferably within automotive, industrial or similar product‑oriented environments.

You have a strong understanding of automated test development using tools such as Python and LabVIEW and are comfortable working close to hardware, electronics and measurement equipment. You are able to break down customer and regulatory requirements into structured test plans and enjoy problem‑solving, debugging and troubleshooting. With strong communication skills, you collaborate effectively with R&D, production, quality, suppliers and, when relevant, customers.

Fluency in English is required, and knowledge of Swedish is a plus.
