OverviewThis position offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced engineer to join a firm with national water/wastewater expertise in a small company environment. The successful candidate will increase Donohue’s water and wastewater market share through client and project interactions, acquiring new clients and maintaining existing relationships, working closely with project teams throughout all project phases.
Responsibilities- Serve as a technical resource, planning and designing water and wastewater systems.
- Identify and pursue strategic target clients to drive growth across Indiana and neighboring states.
- Lead relationship-building efforts with clients, understanding challenges and providing institutional knowledge to support project success.
- Champion client interests within the organization, ensuring client satisfaction and adherence to contractual commitments and values.
- Provide insights to ensure proposals address client concerns, objectives, and goals.
- Serve as a Project Manager when needed, directing multi-discipline teams to meet budget, schedule, and quality standards.
- Conduct quality control reviews in your area of expertise.
- Engage in professional organizations and industry events to showcase Donohue’s capabilities.
- M.S. or B.S. in Environmental, Civil, Chemical, or related engineering field.
- 15+ years of relevant experience.
- PE registration.
- Established relationships in the Indiana market, with a client-focused approach and strong interpersonal skills.
- Proven project management skills, delivering quality work on time and within budget.
- Ability to work collaboratively with clients and teams.
