What You’ll Work On- Lead plan production for roadway design projects using Micro Station ORD and/or AutoCAD/Civil 3D and Auto Turn.
- Collaborate with INDOT, local agencies, consultants, and contractors on projects. Develop project budgets, schedules, and technical proposals.
- Apply engineering expertise and specialized software to solve complex transportation challenges.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high‑quality design services.
- Prepare quantities and construction cost estimates for bidding.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, PE license required. Ability to obtain multiple state licenses.
- 15+ years of experience in roadway design and project management, especially with INDOT and local agency projects.
- Proficient in INDOT Plan Submittal Package Development and Process.
- Prior experience with Micro Station/ORD and Auto Cad Civil 3D.
- Proficiency with Bentley Bridge Design products, Merlin Dash, Midas, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word.
- Familiarity with HEC‑RAS, HY8, and Storm
CAD is a plus. - Strong communication and computer skills.
- Desire to coordinate and collaborate with junior staff.
- Ability to travel to project and client sites as needed.
