Location:

Indianapolis, IN. Hybrid role (min 2 days in office).

Pay: $120,000 to $145,000 per year.

Job Description

• Professional Engineering (P.E.) License.
• Over 10 years of experience designing building structural systems for pharmaceutical/industrial/chemical facilities.
• Demonstrated leadership in structural design of steel and concrete structures of various sizes and execution approaches.
• Proficiency in STAAD/STAAD Pro.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks.
• Solid knowledge of building codes and applicable structural codes.
• Leadership and mentoring experience for structural engineers and designers.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Provide discipline leadership for the structural design and documentation of various sizes and scopes of projects.
• Support the Department Manager by leading Structural discipline components, ensuring delivery of design deliverables meet quality expectations and schedules.
• Provide technical guidance and oversight to less experienced personnel, including mentoring.
• Assist management with structural staff forecasting to balance resources.
• Assist in evaluating employee performance feedback.
• Assist in project proposals by ascertaining scope and determining required engineering/design budgets.
• Maintain effective communications with department members, higher management, and clients.
• Promote the global data‑centric tool initiative and help the team grow technical competency.
