Job Description:

• Direct and coordinate the design/revision of major engineering projects
• Perform equipment layouts, size equipment, work with vendors, customers and internal engineering team
• Obtain field data, perform construction reports
• Take plans from conception to design
• Create schematics based on customer specifications
• Create and stamp drawings
• Meet with technicians and estimators to go over designs
• Prepare parts list for Materials Manager, order additional parts needed
• Complete job thoroughly, efficiently and to all specifications
• Maintain positive relationships with clients and vendors
• Follow all job site safely protocols
• Communicate with president

Directly Supervises:

• CAD/Revit Technicians

• Communicate job progress/problems with President
• Assemble thorough schematics and designs in a timely manner
• Create thorough job blueprints for technicians
• Assemble accurate parts lists for the Materials Manager
• Provide leadership and assist Engineers & CAD/Revit Technicians in gaining knowledge of the trade ensuring the department is running efficiently
