Entegee Engineering is actively seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer in Indianapolis, IN. This role is responsible for mechanical product design, validation testing, and documentation to support new concepts and updates to existing designs.

• Create product designs and detailed drawings for new concepts and modifications to existing designs
• Perform mechanical analysis to confirm designs meet functional and safety requirements
• Resolve design and manufacturing issues through root-cause analysis and corrective actions
• Author engineering documents for fabrication, assembly, testing, and inspection requirements
• Conduct market research to support design decisions and identify emerging trends
• Coordinate project activities including scheduling, supplier management, and cross-functional design execution

• B.S. or M.S. in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 3–5 years of design engineering experience (industrial machinery or automation)
• Proficiency with CAD tools (Solid Works, AutoCAD)
• Experience with PLM systems
• Experience creating detailed drawings and releasing designs for fabrication and assembly
• Experience developing test plans and validating designs (thermal, vibration, lifecycle testing)
• Ability to perform mechanical analysis and verify designs meet functional and safety requirements
• Experience writing technical engineering documentation (fabrication, assembly, test, inspection)
