We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support aerospace production operations at a key client site in Indianapolis, IN. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with process development, machining operations, and inspection planning in a high‑precision manufacturing environment. This role is critical in driving process improvements, ensuring manufacturability, and supporting compliance with aerospace quality standards.

• Develop manufacturing processes and part routings for new and existing components
• Interpret engineering drawings and convert them into practical, shop‑floor‑ready methods
• Create and review inspection plans to support dimensional and process validation
• Support conventional machining operations (mill, turn) with technical input and troubleshooting
• Apply foundational metrology to verify part conformance and process capability
• Identify gaps in manufacturing or quality processes and implement corrective actions
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to drive efficiency, quality, and compliance

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent relevant experience
• Experience working in aerospace manufacturing environments
• Working knowledge of AS9100 quality management systems
• Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma principles and continuous improvement methodologies
• Strong ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Knowledge of conventional machining and inspection techniques
• Due to the nature of the work US Citizenship is required

• Customer‑facing or supplier quality engineering experience
• Experience developing or supporting inspection planning documentation
• Hands‑on exposure to dimensional metrology or quality verification tools
• Effective problem‑solving and communication skills in fast‑paced production settings
