As a Project Manager at Walker, you will work on projects including:
- Managing various design projects from initial concept through construction completion.
- Managing the financial and schedule elements of the project.
- Coordinating with Owners, Architects, Contractors, and Consultants to achieve project goals.
- Communicating effectively with clients to understand their objectives, provide technical guidance, and ensure high satisfaction levels.
- Contributing to business development and marketing activities, including developing client relationships, writing proposals, responding to requests, and participating in interviews.
- Mentoring, guiding, and providing technical support to junior engineers and designers, fostering professional development.
- Maintaining strong relationships in the industry and with our clients.
- Participating in networking activities and representing our firm at industry meetings and conferences.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree (Master’s degree preferred) in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or similar.
Other Requirements:
- 1+ years of experience managing projects (schedule, budget, client relationships, deliverables).
- 5+ years of experience in structural engineering design.
- A Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or Structural Engineer (SE) is required.
- Strong communication and team skills are necessary.
- Willingness and ability to travel.

$90,000 - $150,000 a year
