Description
V2X Aerospace Solutions has entry level Systems Engineering opportunities for recent college graduates or those graduating by May of 2026 to join our Systems Engineering team in Indianapolis, IN. As a Systems Engineer, you will work within a team of talented and experienced engineers performing Systems Engineering activities that include design, development or test at the system, subsystem, and component levels.
The selected candidates will apply technical standards, principles, theories, concepts, and techniques to solve customer needs by providing customized engineering services and products for unique customer missions.
In this role, you’ll gain hands‑on experience in requirements management, system architecture, test procedure development, and test execution, contributing to cutting‑edge defense solutions. You’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and refine systems that meet mission‑critical needs. RequiredSkills
- Ability to apply basic engineering principles, theories, and concepts
- Ability to successfully develop solutions to routine technical problems
- Ability to work in a multi-discipline team environment demonstrated through customer focus and ability to collaborate
- Experience with MS Office Suite of tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Previous Engineering project and/or internship experience
- Exposure to requirements development, derivation, and management
- Exposure to integration of software and hardware subsystems
- Experience working on design projects as part of college courses or previous internships
- Knowledge of System Engineering practices
- Ability to research and distill data into meaningful information
- Bachelor’s Degree obtained by May of 2026
- Major in Engineering (Aeronautical, Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, Software, or Systems), Computer Science or a closely related STEM field
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0+ is strongly desired
