Position: Junior Mechanical Engineer (Permanent)

Location: Fowler, IN

Salary: $75,000 - $85,000 per year

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Jr. Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team. This permanent position offers the opportunity to be an integral part of our innovative manufacturing process, working on projects from conception to completion. The successful candidate will have a background in mechanical engineering with a focus on manufacturing, and will have a strong understanding of PLC programming and basic IT skills.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Junior Engineer to further develop their skills and contribute to the success of our company.

• Designing, implementing, maintaining, and improving mechanical instruments, equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes.
• Operating computer‑assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks.
• Directing and coordinating manufacturing, construction, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements.
• Inspecting completed installations and observing operations to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications and compliance with operational and safety standards.
• Developing PLC programs to control machinery or equipment.
• Collaborating with cross‑functional teams on the manufacturing process, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Providing technical advice to the manufacturing team and resolving any issues that may arise.

• A Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering.
• A minimum of 2 years' experience in an engineering role, with a focus on mechanical engineering.
• Experience with PLC programming is essential.
• Basic IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CAD software.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to think creatively to resolve complex issues.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
• A proactive approach to work, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
