We do this by aligning the voice of our small business members with advocacy for change in federal policy that will make the government market more accessible to small businesses and the commercial technology ecosystem. The Channel s founding Technical Board Members include former government leaders and IT executives passionate about bringing best-of-breed technology to the government.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Engineering Technician VI to join our team.

Responsibilities
  • Provide technical oversight and leadership to multidisciplinary teams engaged in the development, sustainment, and enhancement of Navy Electronic Warfare systems.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for technical rigor and sound engineering practices across multiple assigned programs and projects.
  • Support the research, development, and implementation of new or enhanced systems, technologies, and engineering processes.
  • Resolve complex technical issues by applying deep domain knowledge and systematic analysis methods.
  • Anticipate and evaluate future mission needs, advising on strategy, technology development, and resource allocation to ensure long-term capability readiness.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align project objectives with evolving defense requirements.
  • Develop and deliver clear, concise technical briefings, progress updates, and strategic recommendations to government managers and stakeholders.
  • Ensure alignment with NAVAIR workload and lifecycle support expectations, contributing to mission success through technical excellence and innovation.
  • Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Comply with all relevant security protocols and standards in support of Secret-cleared work environments.
Qualifications
  • 12 years relevant experience supporting Navy Electronic Warfare Systems - Desired
  • 8 years relevant experience supporting NAVAIR workload - Desired
  • Responsible for providing technical oversight and leadership to a team of personnel in various competencies - Desired
  • Subject matter expertise for Technical Rigor for assigned projects and/or programs - Desired
  • Provide expertise in research/development of new or improved systems or equipment, advancement of technology and processes and resolution of difficult technical issues - Desired
  • Strategic thinking to anticipate future Mission needs and the resources required - Desired
  • Excellent Communication and Briefing Skills to provide status updates to customers, managers, and other stakeholders - Desired
  • Education:

    High School diploma or GED – Required
  • Security

    Clearance Required:

    Secret

    Government Site (100% onsite at NSWC Crane Division)
