We are seeking a full‑time Civil Engineer with a background or interest in water resources and environmental engineering. The position will be based in our Indianapolis office, with a focus on water, wastewater, and stormwater disciplines. Projects include treatment facilities, utility distribution, and stormwater and sanitary collection systems.
Responsibilities- Complete technical design, engineering calculations, and communications duties on various engineering projects, including treatment facilities, stormwater management for site projects and during construction, pump stations, and distribution/collection networks.
- Collaborate with team members as well as work independently to constructively approach challenges and develop solutions.
- Manage multiple tasks while ensuring timely completion.
- Coordinate with technical personnel to develop construction documents and specifications under the supervision of a Professional Engineer.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related engineering disciplines such as Environmental Engineering.
- 0-4 years of relevant work experience.
- Passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Exam.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs such as Word and Excel.
- Experience with AutoCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and land development.
Skills & Qualifications
- Professional experience in engineering is a plus.
- Experience with modeling software such as Water Cad, Autodesk Storm and Sanitary Analysis, and ICPR is encouraged.
- Desire to obtain Professional Engineer certification.
- Strong verbal and writing skills to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, and the public.

- Remote / WFH after 90 days (3 days in office and 2 at home).

Work hours are Monday to Thursday from 7 AM to 4:30 PM and Friday from 7 AM to 12 PM, with some flexibility. A hybrid work environment is available after 90 days, with 3 days in the office and 2 days Water Resources Team in Indianapolis consists of 10 people, including 2 CAD professionals and 8 Engineers.
