Safety Specialist

Role: Safety Specialist responsible for designing, improving, and maintaining safety systems, processes, and equipment to ensure safety compliance and promote a safety-focused culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead safety improvement projects and support departmental safety initiatives.
• Implement PDCA cycles to reduce hazards and injuries.
• Collaborate with leaders and safety committees to foster safety excellence.
• Interpret and apply safety policies, conduct risk assessments, ergonomic studies, and document safety activities.
• Analyze safety data, prepare reports, and present findings to support decision-making.
• Develop technical expertise and stay current with safety regulations and best practices.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Occupational Safety, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 0-4 years of safety experience.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and data analysis skills.
• Understanding of safety regulations, injury prevention, and root cause analysis.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and planning tools.
• Ability to work in manufacturing and office environments, with flexibility for overtime and varying shifts.
