Project Manager - Water & Wastewater

The ideal candidate will plan, coordinate, and implement projects within the decided-upon budget, timeline, and scope. They will also effectively monitor and present project updates to relevant stakeholders, clients, or project team members.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently complete an entire set of contract documents, including Plans, Specifications, Quantities, and Estimate
• Conduct meetings, including composing meeting agendas and minutes
• Client contact
• Work with and manage sub-consultants
• Work with and coordinate with other internal departments
• Assist in assembling Supplements, Proposals, and engineers’ reports
• Update relevant stakeholders or team members on the project progress
• Coach and support project team members with tasks you assign them

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering, or equivalent
• Professional Engineer in the State of Indiana, or ability to obtain within 12 months
• Not less than 8 years of experience in Water & Wastewater Engineering
• Proficient with a computer and Microsoft Excel and Word, and working knowledge of AutoCAD
• Able to efficiently complete an entire set of contract documents
• Must represent the firm professionally in public
• Must be able to evaluate various water and wastewater equipment and materials
• Must be able to prepare permit applications
• Must be able to attend evening meetings with clients as needed
• Must possess the ability to interact with officials at all levels of government
• Strong business acumen in project planning and management
• Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills
