* Job Description:

** The Manufacturing Engineering Intern will gain exposure and experience in the development and implementation of optimal, cost-effective manufacturing processes and methods, in accordance with product specifications and quality standards.

* Key Responsibilities:

* * Assist in the development of manufacturing systems with the focus on continuous improvement related to quality and throughput capability of production equipment.
* Work is of a technical nature where decisions are made within general practices and procedures, where supervision is available.
* Assist in the design, development, and/or improvement of manufacturing processes.
* Study product requirements; researching, designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods and equipment.
* Other duties as assigned.

* Qualifications:

* * Education Requirement:
College undergraduate or graduate status with 1-3 years at an accredited college or university, pursuing an academic field of study related to Engineering, Engineering Technology, or other technological fields of study.

* Required Experience:

* Strong oral and written communication skills are required.
* Good interpersonal skills to work effectively with others.
* Analytical ability to solve complex problems.
* Due to International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Intern must be a United States Citizen or Permanent Resident.
