The Engineer Intern is a temporary position that offers students real-world experience, working closely with seasoned staff engineers on various projects and tasks. This hands-on opportunity will allow you to apply classroom theory to practical scenarios, enhance your skills, and make a meaningful impact. This is an on-site position located in any of our offices in Indianapolis, IN;
Denver, CO;
Jacksonville, FL;
Gainesville, FL; or Washington, DC.
- Collaborate with engineers to analyze, design, and optimize structures for diverse projects.
- Assist in performing structural calculations, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Contribute to CAD modeling, drafting, and preparing shop documents.
- Support the team in problem-solving and proposing innovative solutions to engineering dilemmas.
- Attend project meetings, workshops, and training sessions to broaden your knowledge base.
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science or Master of Science in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
- Strong analytical skills and a passion for tackling intricate engineering problems.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Acurious mindset and a willingness to learn from experienced professionals.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
