The Data Entry Clerk will be responsible for entering customer orders and ensuring that data is accurate while respecting regional standards for the number of daily entries. This role will also be expected to project a professional company image and respond to customer requests. The work schedule is Monday to Friday day shift.

• Enter orders by telephone, fax, e-mail or other means, and ensure that the customer's order is feasible
• Ensure that orders are entered in accordance with customer instructions, while following data entry and departmental operating procedures, and respecting lead times
• Evaluate each order in order to provide the best available product to meet customer needs
• Validate the transfer of orders to the various production sites
• Communicate with customers to inform them of any changes to their order or additional lead times, to obtain missing information or for frames in follow‑up
• Inform the Customer Experience team as soon as a product becomes available, and suggest a substitute or corresponding product in the event of a stock shortage
• Provide technical information on products, and answer questions concerning the use of the electronic ordering system
• Receive and process customer credits according to established procedures
• Work as part of a team with technical support and the Customer Experience phone department

• High school diploma (DES)
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar position (customer service or data entry)
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to work in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment with little supervision
• Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines and daily data entry volumes
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
• Team spirit and ability to interact with several departments
• Knowledge of optics and eyewear is an asset
