What You’ll DoAs the Senior Accountant/Accounting Manager, you’ll own day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate, compliant financial reporting. You’ll lead core accounting processes while also driving improvements and partnering across the organization.
In this Role, You Will:- Lead daily accounting operations including the general ledger, journal entries, and reconciliations
- Oversee AP, AR, fixed assets, and payroll support
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual GAAP financial statements
- Manage banking activities: reconciliations, deposits, ACH/wires, and banking relationships
- Monitor and forecast cash flow and working capital
- Support internal and external audits
- Ensure compliance with tax requirements (sales/use tax, 1099s, etc.)
- Partner with operations on cost accounting, margins, inventory valuation, and project tracking
- Coordinate monthly/quarterly/year-end close in SAP
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Enhance internal controls, accounting policies, and process efficiency
- Provide ad-hoc reporting, business cases, and financial analysis to leadership
- Support the ISO 9001:2015 quality management system
- Take on additional responsibilities as needed
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/CMA a plus)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience; manufacturing background preferred
- Strong GAAP knowledge and financial reporting skills
- Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
- High integrity and attention to detail
- Advanced Excel skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle Net Suite, etc.); ERP migration experience a plus
- Familiarity with sales tax compliance tools (e.g., Vertex) is helpful
