About the RoleJoin Crowe as a senior audit professional in the Financial Services industry. You will lead engagements, supervise staff, manage client relationships, and contribute to business growth across banking, private equity, asset management, insurance, and fintech.
Responsibilities- Run client engagements from start to finish—financial statement preparation, staffing, scheduling, budgeting, planning, and administration.
- Supervise, train, and mentor staff and interns, assess performance, and conduct engagement reviews.
- Maintain outstanding client relationships; collaborate with client management and staff to deliver audit services.
- Resolve audit issues in partnership with audit team and promote innovative solutions.
- Research and analyze financial statements and audit issues using electronic databases and audit software.
- Engage key client management to collect information, resolve audit-related problems, and recommend business and process improvements.
- 2+ years of recent, relevant public‑accounting external audit experience.
- Experience auditing Banking, Private Equity, Asset Management, Insurance, or Fintech clients.
- Strong organizational, social, technical, accounting, and auditing skills.
- Experience with engagement management, reviews, and staff supervision.
- Ability to multi‑task and manage several engagements concurrently.
- Proactive research on technical matters before manager review.
- Must meet the education requirement for CPA certification in state; having a CPA license is an advantage.
- Willingness to work extra hours and travel to client sites as needed.
