Finance Administrator
OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented Finance Administrator for our government client to support the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in managing financial operations, budgeting, and reporting. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate financial processes and compliance across the organization.
Base Pay Range$25.00/hr - $28.00/hr

Key Responsibilities- Oversee day-to-day operations of the Finance team and provide guidance as needed.
- Process payroll and monitor personnel spending.
- Approve requisitions for organizational and IT-related purchases.
- Prepare monthly financial reports for leadership review.
- Assist in planning and implementing annual budget and audit processes.
- Compile and analyze financial data to prepare budget plans and reports.
- Monitor expenditures against budget, evaluate variances, and recommend adjustments.
- Collaborate with executives and project managers to resolve budget issues.
- Generate monthly financial reports, including diversity spend reports.
- Support development and implementation of financial systems, spreadsheets, and databases.
- Act as proxy for the CFO when delegated, including attending meetings and approving financial matters.
- Facilitate vendor payment processes and maintain vendor communication.
- Produce comparative and trend analysis reports.
- Maintain confidentiality of all financial information.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in financial roles.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards and procedures.
- Proficiency in spreadsheets, databases, and financial software.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Familiarity with governmental accounting and budgetary procedures.
