Senior Controller / Hands‑On CFO
Location:
Indianapolis, Indiana – Onsite – Central Indiana – Manufacturing.
Job Type: Direct Hire.
Compensation: $100,000 - $150,000 per year.
We’re partnering with a well‑established, privately held manufacturing organization in Central Indiana to identify a hands‑on Senior Controller / CFO who enjoys being deeply involved in the day‑to‑day accounting while also serving as a strategic finance leader.
This is a working CFO role, ideal for someone who prefers to stay close to the numbers, lead a small team, and mentor the next generation of leadership – not sit in an ivory tower.

- Train, develop, and mentor the current controller to step into expanded responsibility over time
- Senior controller, controller, or CFO background
- Strong operational or manufacturing accounting experience
- Comfortable being both strategic and tactical
- Natural mentor and steady leader
- CPA preferred, not required
- Someone looking for stability, impact, and legacy, not job hopping
