Join CFS as a Controller.

Base pay range: $80,000.00/yr – $/yr.

Location:

Pendleton, IN (On-site). Salary: $80,000–$110,000. Bonus: 3%–6% annual salary increase.

A stable and growing construction company is hiring a Controller to step into a critical, hands‑on role supporting daily financial operations while partnering closely with the CFO. This is not a big‑team corporate Controller role – it’s ideal for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats, owning the numbers, and working directly with operations in a field‑driven environment. The outgoing Controller will remain in place for a full training and transition period to ensure a smooth handoff.

• 3+ years in a private company performing account‑manager‑level or higher responsibilities
• Payroll management experience

• Construction industry background
• Public accounting experience

• Payroll – weekly payroll processing, new‑hire onboarding and terminations, credit card receipt tracking
• Accounts Payable & Reconciliations – vendor payables, credit card and account reconciliations
• HR Administration – benefits, insurance, retirement plans, and COBRA
• Additional Responsibilities Include Job Costing and Financial Organization
