Retail Banking Apprentice

Are you interested in exploring a career in banking while gaining real-world experience and building professional skills? The National Bank of Indianapolis is seeking a Retail Banking Apprentice to join our team through a two-year apprenticeship program. In partnership with the Financial Services Academy and Indiana Career Apprenticeship Pathway (INCAP), this program provides hands-on experience and exposure to careers throughout the Bank.

You'll build a strong foundation in retail banking while learning how different areas of the Bank work together to serve our clients.

• Gain hands-on experience serving clients and supporting their everyday banking needs
• Develop the skills needed to progress toward a fully trained Customer Service Representative (Teller)
• Learn about Bank products, services, lending, operations, compliance, and security
• Build an understanding of banking structure, strategy, and leadership
• Develop customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills
• Learn alongside experienced banking professionals across different areas and levels of the Bank
• Build core professional skills that can transfer to future roles in banking and financial services

Successful completion of the program fulfills the work-based learning component toward the Indiana High School Diploma and Honors Plus Employment Seal, along with the INCAP AP Credential and Financial Services Academy Retail Banking Certificate.
