Traveling Cosmetologist

Overview

Traveling Licensed Cosmetologist role at PS Salon & Spa (traveling to nearby salons). Flexible, part-time and on-call schedule; traveling to local salons as needed in senior living environments across the US. PS Salon & Spa has 1500+ locations nationwide in senior living environments.

• Provide a wide range of cosmetology services which may include, but are not limited to: haircuts, styling, coloring, perms, manicures, pedicures and roller sets.
• Engage with clients to understand their needs and provide personalized recommendations.
• Upsell products and services to enhance client experience and satisfaction.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area in accordance with health and safety regulations.
• Manage social media accounts to promote services, share client transformations, and engage with the community.
• Deliver outstanding hospitality to ensure a welcoming environment for all guests.

• Valid active Cosmetology license in this state
• Reliable transportation
• Proof of Identity
• Proof of eligibility to work in the US, without sponsorship
• Part-time, as-needed / on-call schedule

• Proven experience as a Cosmetologist
• Strong guest-service skills with an emphasis on building rapport with clients
• Familiarity with senior living environments; experience with clients who have Alzheimer’s, dementia and/or special needs is desirable
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail

• 50% commission per service performed

• Additional $25 per week for traveling to local salons, as needed

• Regularly able to walk, reach with hands and arms, stand for extended periods
• Regularly able to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs
• Occasionally able to stoop, kneel, and crouch
