• Making a difference in the lives of the residents we serve by providing them care and compassion.
• Acting as a positive teammate to fellow employees by helping onboard new teammates.
• Must work effectively with team members in ensuring that work is accomplished, and quality care is delivered while supporting team members and celebrating team successes.
• Prepares and/or pre-portions food (such as beverages, salads, desserts, and other items assigned by the supervisor) for regular and therapeutic diets according to the planned menu and production sheets and as directed.
• Follows recipes and prepares food that corresponds to menu cycles prepared by the Registered Dietitian.
• Cooks or prepares palatable, attractive, nutritionally adequate meals in batches to ensure freshens and proper temperatures.
• Assists with demonstrating, instructing and educating servers on preparations, garnishing and presentation of food.
• Supervises servers with food preparation, cleaning, and storage of supplies and equipment.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Experience in Dietary and Long Term/Healthcare a plus
