Position Summary
The Department of Medical and Molecular Genetics at Indiana University School of Medicine is seeking applicants at the Postdoctoral level. Dr. Zhang’s lab focuses on identification of genetic and epigenetic alterations in human cancer cells and understanding how these alterations contribute to tumor development, therapeutic resistance, and tumor-immune interactions in solid cancers. Dr. Zhang’s lab has identified genes involved in the modulation of tumor microenvironment and tumor immune evasion, and developed novel therapeutic strategies in preclinical models.
Dr. Zhang’s lab has developed technical platforms including mouse tumor models, organoid models, and novel drug delivery systems.

Basic Qualifications- Recently obtained a PhD in Molecular Biology, genetics or similar discipline and a first author on at least 1-2 publications.
- Previous experience in cancer biology, immunotherapy, and/or cancer metabolism is preferred.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English are required.
