Position

LocationVeteran Health Indiana, downtown Indianapolis, Indiana
Key Highlights- High-performing, high-quality team providing care to Veterans
- Robust onsite team with Radiation Oncologists, Physicists, Dosimetrists, 7 Therapists, registrars, health tech, etc.
- Modern equipment: 2 Varian Truebeam linacs, Aria, SBRT, Siemens simulator; APEx and COC accredited
- Expected shift Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
- High‑complexity VA Medical Center with Surgery, Oncology and Radiology in-house
- Vibrant and affordable Indianapolis, Indiana
- Provide therapeutic radiation services as part of the multidisciplinary oncology team.
- Review and discuss treatment plans with clinicians to guide dose prescription and techniques.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and facility accreditation standards.
- Collaborate with dosimetrists and therapists to optimize patient treatment.
- Master’s degree in Medical Physics or related field.
- Board Certified as a Therapeutic Medical Physicist.
- Experience in a high‑complexity VA Medical Center (preferred).
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Base pay range: $166,000 – $218,000 per year (U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs pay scale).
