Strategic Deployment Clinician / Psych Med NP
Position Summary
:
The Strategic Deployment Clinician is part of the Strategic Deployment & Engagement Team, working with the Regional Director of Clinical Operations & Engagement (RDCOE) and the Business Development Team to engage with new facilities. This role supports new growth, fills urgent care gaps, and serves as the clinical catalyst in launching new partnerships and ensuring a smooth transition between care teams.
- Frequent travel throughout the state, including overnight stays.
- Master’s degree in nursing or completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Current and valid NP or PA license.
- Minimum of one year of experience in Primary Care or Behavioral Health; long‑term care experience preferred.
Job Duties / Responsibilities
- Serve as the initial provider in newly contracted facilities to start patient care before permanent Advanced Practice Clinicians (APCs) are assigned.
- Act as a clinical liaison between Business Development and Operations, ensuring seamless onboarding of patients and facility partners.
- Provide short‑term coverage for existing APPs during PTO, LOA, or staffing transitions.
- Deliver compassionate, timely, and thorough care to long‑term care residents in SNFs and ALFs.
- Mentor and support new APPs through shadowing, orientation, and education.
- Serve as a “clinical firefighter” during high‑need scenarios to stabilize and support team success.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws, regulations, standards, guidelines, and Eventus Whole Health policies and procedures.
- Promptly report any non‑compliant conduct and/or practices to Eventus Whole Health’s Chief Compliance and Risk Officer.
- Adhere to Eventus Whole Health's Code of Ethics and Business Conduct.
- Report any unethical conduct promptly to Eventus Whole Health’s Chief Compliance and Risk Officer.
- Protect patient information in accordance with all federal and state privacy laws and Eventus Whole Health policies and procedures.
- Report any violations promptly to Eventus Whole Health’s Chief Compliance and Risk Officer.
- Maintain accurate and complete documentation when performing the job duties.
- Participate in all assigned training and complete by the deadline.
- Engage in regular risk assessments to identify potential risks and work proactively with a supervisor and the Chief Compliance and Risk Officer to mitigate identified risks.
- Promptly report incidents as defined in the Incident Report Policy to the Chief Compliance and Risk Officer.
