Right at Home is looking for passionate individuals to join a dynamic care team providing in‑home care for seniors and disabled adults throughout Southeast and Northeast Indianapolis, Hamilton County, and Johnson County. Experience preferred but not necessary – we will train the right candidate! Certified Nursing Assistants and Resolving Home Health Aides are a plus. We are hiring immediately for weekend shifts.

Caregiver provides various personal care and paraprofessional services in accordance with an established plan of care. Provides for the personal needs and comfort of patients in their homes.

• Personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living:
  • Personal hygiene (assisting to bathroom or in using bedpan, bathing, care of mouth, skin and hair)
  • Ambulation
  • Dressing
  • Grooming
  • Assists with feeding
  • Engagement activities with client (puzzles, card games, conversation)
• Patient‑specific activities taught by a nurse:
  • Assisting with prescribed range of motion exercises
  • Meal preparation in accordance to instruction
• Homemaking activities:
  • Vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning bathrooms.

• Verbal communication and listening skills
• Ability to promote and maintain a safe environment
• Dependability
• Possess a valid driver's license and have use of an insured automobile 酇 or access to adequate transportation for the job.
• Communicate effectively with office staff on a weekly basis
• Must be below accepting all company policies and take direction from office staff

• Salary: $15‑16/hour based on experience
