Job Details

  • Compensation: $8–$10 per hour plus $5 shift differential (12 am–6 am) plus $5–$10 per hour in tips.
  • Work Schedule: 11 pm–7 am.
  • Benefits: Accident insurance, critical illness insurance, hospital indemnity insurance, telemedicine benefits, 401(k) retirement savings plan. Eligibility depends on classification, length of employment and hours worked. Seasonal & temporary roles are not eligible.

Summary

The Guest Service Associate is responsible for providing exceptional hospitality services to guests in an attentive, friendly and efficient manner. The Associate is responsible for parking and retrieving guest vehicles quickly and safely, assisting guests with luggage, including delivery and pick‑up during arrival and departure.

Essential Functions

  • Maintain a pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, co‑workers and clients.
  • Use proper Towne Park phone etiquette and greet guests appropriately.
  • Parks and retrieves vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously; assists with bell services and luggage storage; opens all vehicle and hotel doors for guests.
  • Assists guests with directions, taxis, reservations and other inquiries; provides information about facility amenities and regional attractions; shuttles guests to approved locations.
  • Explains parking rates and retrieval procedures; issues claim checks after receiving keys and collects claim checks prior to issuing keys; maintains complete ticket information; calculates and collects revenue when required.

Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or GED.
  • Licensure, Certification: Valid driver’s license for the state of employment or within commuting distance.
  • Work Experience: One month of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge: Principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.
  • Skills: Ability to read and write standard English; understand simple instructions; write simple correspondence; present information in one‑to‑one and small group settings; perform basic arithmetic with money; understand 24‑hour and military time; understand rates; operate manual transmission (desirable); parallel parking.

Physical Requirements

Regularly required to talk or hear; sit or stand extended periods; run, walk, handle objects; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Visual requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and focus adjustment. May be required to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally, or 50 pounds frequently.

Working Environment

Majority of work outdoors in extended periods, subject to extreme heat and cold weather. Some protection may be provided.

Travel

Up to 5 % travel may be required.
