Conference Facility Technician

The Conference Facility Technician will collaborate with the Event and Conference Room Planner to execute and ensure amenities for group activities including, but not limited to: conference room venue set-ups and tear downs and audio/visual set up.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with essential staff members to ensure that all conference center venues are clean, tidy and meet hotel standards
• Collaborate with the Event and Conference Room Planner to ensure that the conference center venues are fully-furnished with amenities according to the guests’ needs
• Manage group calendar to ensure rooms are set-up timely
• Manage conference room equipment
• Restock Pepsi vending and front desk pop cooler
• Notify Hotel Manager when Pepsi products need ordered
• Assist the Maintenance staff with projects, including but not limited to: cosmetic maintenance and preventive maintenance
• Complete tasks in the maintenance log when applicable
• Drive housekeeping staff to/from work when needed
• Complete other projects as assigned

Skills and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid and current Driver’s License
• Friendly and welcoming demeanor
• Demonstrate a positive customer service attitude
• Demonstrate a drive to exceed customer’s expectations
