Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Human Resources Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting the HR department with various tasks and initiatives.

Duties
  • Conduct interviews and assist in the hiring process
  • Develop and participate in employee engagement activities
  • Ensure compliance with employment labor laws
  • Manage various aspects of human resources functions
  • Handle payroll processing and data collection
  • Participate in meetings including strategic planning
  • Utilize Paylocity for HR-related tasks
  • Assist with employee issues related to discipline, benefits, attendance, etc.
  • Manage social media presence related to HR initiatives
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in interviewing and recruitment processes
  • Familiarity with employment labor laws
  • Strong knowledge of human resources management practices
  • Proficiency in payroll systems and data collection methods
  • Experience in workforce management strategies
  • Ability to work with Paylocity or similar HR software
  • Understanding of organization policies and HR principles
  • Skills in social media management for HR purposes
  • Willing to adapt schedule to work related requirements and community involvement activities
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to conduct professional presentations
