This role is responsible for proactively leading both tactical HR support and strategic HR operations for the team. This role will partner with leaders and must understand the business beyond the HR function, influence the overall operations and contribute to successful business outcomes. The HR Operations Manager will act as change agent; assess and anticipate HR-related needs and proactively communicate needs with the HR and leadership teams.

This role will also represent Envita in the HR transformation project to modernize the HCM system and processes across The Heritage Group. The HR Operations Manager will further identify and influence new ways for HR to support the business and strategies. This role will serve as a generalist to provide operational HR counsel, coaching, policies and processes, performance management, and employee relations.


How You'll make an Impact

  • Partner with leaders and talent acquisition to identify and implement recruiting and onboarding processes that represent Envita's culture and values
  • Create and implement employee retention strategies and activities and drive engagement in hybrid and onsite work environments
  • Perform all related HR duties at a professional level in the areas of employee relations to support business locations with employees at corporate as well as across multiple sites and states
  • As a trusted business partner and advisor to leaders, you will develop and direct Human Resources policies to align with the business strategy and culture of Envita
  • Support employee relations needs including conduct investigations into complaints, allegations, Ethics Hotline reports and other employee concerns and make recommendations for resolution
  • Provide training and guidance on performance management through Envita's philosophy of continuous performance coaching and providing feedback and guidance for development
  • Partner with team members on talent and learning & development strategies that support the training priorities of Envita
  • Provide direction and guidance for administration of all employee personnel, confidential/medical, and training files and data
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations
  • Develop partnerships and support outreach efforts to continue to build on our diverse and inclusive culture
  • Act as a trusted collaborative partner as a member of the People & Culture team within Envita as well as across The Heritage Group of HR team members
  • Represent Envita in all HR Operational phases of a new modern HCM system implementation. Be a project champion within our organization for change management
  • Partner with The Heritage Group's HR Shared Services team in areas of payroll compliance, employee administration, HR reporting practices, HR data analytics, benefits, etc.
  • Directly manage 1-2 team members within the P+C team


What You'll Need to Succeed

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or related field beneficial
  • Minimum 5 years of successful experience in Human Resources, demonstrating a proven understanding of multiple Human Resource subject areas, including employee relations, performance management and management consultation.
  • Professional HR certification beneficial
  • Solid understanding of State and Federal employment regulations across a wide range of HR functions
  • Experience with HRIS, time & attendance systems and Microsoft Office software
  • Experience with Workday system and/or implementation preferred
