Are you a strategic and passionate Human Resources leader who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment? Davidson Hospitality Group is seeking a Regional Director of Human Resources to support a portion of our portfolio and serve as a trusted HR partner to property and operational leadership.

This is an onsite leadership opportunity based in either Indianapolis, Indiana or Key West, Florida, with approximately 25% travel to support assigned properties within the portfolio. The Regional Director will provide strategic HR leadership across multiple hotels and/or resorts while partnering closely with General Managers, property HR leaders, and senior operational leadership.

In this role, you will help shape culture, strengthen talent strategies, develop leaders, and drive employee engagement across the portfolio. You will serve as a resource and coach to property leadership, ensuring Davidson’s people practices are consistently and effectively executed while recognizing the unique needs of each property.

Key Responsibilities

Provide strategic HR leadership, guidance, and support to multiple hotels and/or resorts within an assigned portfolio.

Partner with General Managers and senior leaders to develop and execute HR strategies aligned with business and operational goals.

Coach and support property Human Resources leaders, helping build strong HR teams and develop future leaders.

Oversee and support talent acquisition, onboarding, workforce planning, succession planning, retention, and employee engagement strategies.

Partner with leaders to strengthen organizational culture and create an exceptional employee experience across the portfolio.

Provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, investigations, and other complex HR matters.

Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws, regulations, and Davidson policies.

Develop and facilitate training and leadership development programs for managers and employees.

Analyze HR metrics and workforce trends, providing insights and recommendations to senior leadership.

Support organizational changes, transitions, openings, renovations, and other strategic initiatives across the portfolio.

Build strong relationships with property leadership and serve as a visible and accessible HR resource.

Travel approximately 25% to assigned properties and other business locations.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Hospitality, or a related field preferred.

Minimum of 8 years of progressive Human Resources experience, with demonstrated experience supporting multiple hotels, resorts, or business locations.

Multi-property HR leadership experience is required.

Strong knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices.

Demonstrated experience developing and implementing strategic HR initiatives.

Strong leadership, coaching, and people management skills.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of an organization.

Proven ability to partner effectively with General Managers and senior operational leaders.

Strategic thinker with strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Ability to balance strategic priorities with hands-on support for property teams.
