As a Learning & Development Manager at Shook Construction, you'll help build the future of our workforce by developing the knowledge, leadership capabilities, and career growth opportunities that enable our employees to succeed. From onboarding new team members to strengthening leadership pipelines and supporting career development pathways, your work will have a direct impact on employee engagement, readiness, and organizational  this role, you'll partner closely with your Human Resources teammates, Operations, Safety, business leaders, and subject matter experts to design and execute learning strategies that align with Shook's business goals.

You'll oversee learning systems, develop leadership programs, facilitate training initiatives, and create scalable development resources that support both field and office employees throughout their careers.

What You’ll DoLearning Strategy & Organizational Development Develop and implement learning and development programs aligned with business goals.

Assess training needs and identify development opportunities across the organization.

Evolve career development pathways and learning resources for employees.

Monitor industry trends and recommend innovative learning solutions.

Leadership Development Manage and enhance leadership development programs.

Support succession planning and leadership pipeline development.

Partner with leaders to strengthen leadership capabilities across all levels.

Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and development programs.

Learning Systems & Program Management Oversee the Learning Management System (LMS) and related learning tools.

Track participation, completion rates, and learning outcomes.

Measure program effectiveness and recommend improvements.

Maintain learning records, reports, and compliance-related training requirements.

Content Development Design and develop engaging learning materials and resources.

Partner with subject matter experts to create relevant training content.

Leverage technology and AI tools to enhance learning experiences.

Ensure training materials remain current and effective.

Employee Development Support onboarding and early career development initiatives.

Collaborate with HR and business leaders to improve employee growth and retention.

Assist with mentoring, coaching, and professional development programs.

Promote a culture of continuous learning throughout the organization.

Physical and Work Expectations Facilitate in-person and virtual training programs.

Travel to offices, jobsites, and company events as needed.

Occasional overnight travel may be required.

Comply with all company policies and safety requirements.

What You’ll Bring Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, Business, Construction Management, or a related field.

Master's degree preferred.

Experience managing leadership development programs and learning initiatives.
