Capgemini Government Solutions (CGS) LLC is seeking a highly motivated Sr. Security Engineer - Security Engineering Team to join our Aerospace team in Indianapolis, IN to support government clients. The successful applicant will work closely with our clients to provide technical support in information security response, security monitoring, and supports audit/compliance activities. The role focuses on three main areas for Security Engineering and Operational activity.

• Run Activity - Monitoring and acting as required on the health of various Security tools.
• Incident Response - responding with appropriate actions as required regarding tooling within the remit of the SET.
• Triaging requests incoming to the Engineering Team mailbox and Service Management intake queue, ensuring ownership within the wider team is appropriately assigned and requests have ownership.
• Responsible for ensuring the integrity of client IT infrastructures.
• Responsible to keep the lights green on all Security Toolkit Infrastructure within our remit.
• Support various toolsets including SIEM, IDPS, GVM and Malware Protection.
• Record and respond to health alerts from the Security Infrastructure we maintain.
• Configure and adjust policies, features, and enhancements as needed, both in response to security incidents and to accommodate client request for improvements.
• Troubleshooting security tools that may affect business applications when needed.
• Respond to and follow core IT Service Management Principles.
• Develop and demonstrate a solid understanding of information security principles, including malware analysis, emerging threats, attack techniques, and vulnerability management.

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain Government Security Clearance.
• 5-7 years of experience working in SOC environment as a Security Engineering Specialist.
• Experience supporting a large global enterprise environment.
• Solid and demonstrable comprehension of Information Security including malware, emerging threats, attacks, and vulnerability management.
• Customer service including the resolution of customer escalations, incident handling and response.

• Cloud security experience.
• Programming and/or scripting language experience (C, .NET, Python, Perl, etc).
• Unix/Linux experience and familiarity with the vi editor.
• Technical certifications such as CISSP, GCIH, GCIA, GCFA, GPEN, GCCF, CISA, CWSP, CCSP, CCNP, MSCE, Security+ or other relevant certifications.
• Experience in change control, problem management, incident management and troubleshooting of security solutions.
• Proficiency in at least one enterprise SIEM (e.g., Arc Sight, Envision, Q1 Radar, Nitro Security) and at least one enterprise NIDS (e.g., HP Tipping Point, Source fire, McAfee).
• Familiarity with the Aerospace, Defense, or complex manufacturing industries.
