Overview
Infosys is seeking a Principal SAP TM Consultant
. As a Principal Consultant, you will be a key player in the consulting team and a subject matter expert contributing across all phases of the consulting lifecycle. You will manage business process consulting, define problems, propose and create solutions, and drive the development, configuration and deployment of the overall solution. You will guide teams on project processes, deliverables, proposal development, client training, internal capability building and scope definition, and shape value‑adding consulting solutions that help clients meet evolving global market demands.
- Lead end‑to‑end SAP TM implementations, including at least two full‑lifecycle projects and one as Lead Solution Consultant, preferably at the client location.
- Design and integrate SAP TM with TM‑EWM.
- Develop, configure, and deploy end‑to‑end solutions.
- Act as subject‑matter expert across the consulting lifecycle.
- Guide teams on project processes, deliverables, and proposal development.
- Provide client training and internal capability building.
- Detail project scope and translate client requirements into functional specifications.
- Review team‑designed solutions, propose improvements, and ensure quality.
- Liaise with client business teams, advise on best practices, and maintain customer confidence.
- Track and review team deliverables, reporting progress to customers.
- Possess strong understanding of life sciences/pharmaceutical business processes.
- Understand GXP and SOX requirements and work in highly regulated environments.
- Be familiar with release governance, incident management, and test‑execution tools.
- Exhibit excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Demonstrate proactive problem‑solving and strong team‑management capabilities.
- Have experience in a global delivery model (GDM) is an added advantage.
- Present solutions in architecture/design meetings and secure approval for deployment.
- Prepare proposals and effort estimates for upcoming projects.
- Ensure effective communication by telephone, email, and face‑to‑face.
- Travel extensively as required by projects.
- Work primarily at a computer for extended periods and occasionally sit.
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution (or three years of progressive experience in lieu of each year of education). At least 11 years of experience in Information Technology.
Preferred Qualifications- Expertise contributing across consulting lifecycle phases.
- Strong business process consulting, solution definition, and deployment skills.
- Demonstrated success in end‑to‑end SAP TM project implementations.
- Experience with TM‑EWM integration.
- Background in life sciences/pharmaceutical domain.
- Knowledge of GXP and SOX requirements.
- Experience in regulated environments.
- Awareness of release governance and incident management tools.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and team‑management abilities.
- Proactive problem‑solving mindset.
- Global delivery model experience is a plus.
The role may entail extensive travel and working primarily at a computer for extended periods. Candidates based in CA, WA, NY, CO, MD, IL, MN, and NJ may expect an estimated annual compensation of $114,000 to $167,000;
Washington, DC location may expect $106,000 to $147,500.
