Cloud Engineer

Our growing company is searching for a Cloud Engineer to develop and maintain our cloud infrastructure. The Cloud Engineer will work on a team that has a significant impact on helping our customers improve their financial lives. In this role, you will work closely with engineering and product peers to build, optimize, and secure our cloud-based systems. You will focus on SRE, Dev Ops, and cloud-focused software engineering projects.

You will be responsible for deploying, automating, maintaining, and managing cloud-based production systems to ensure high availability, performance, scalability, and security of our platform.

This role is primarily hybrid, requiring some in-person collaboration at Your Money Line’s Indianapolis headquarters.

• At least 3 years of experience in cloud engineering, Dev Ops, or site reliability engineering (SRE) roles
• Proficiency with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and Cloud Formation
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or AWS Cloud Formation
• Strong knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience managing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Git Lab CI/CD, or Git Hub Actions
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Power Shell
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or AWS Cloud Watch
• Understanding of network protocols, security best practices, and firewall configurations
• Ability to automate routine tasks and improve system reliability
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex systems and networks
• You have successfully mentored other engineers
• You are comfortable working in a distributed team
• You communicate well both synchronously and asynchronously

• Base salary of $120,000-$155,000, based on experience
