We are hiring a Senior Solutions Consultant – AI, Data & Automation to serve as a solution‑shaping partner to our sellers. This role functions like an experienced management and technology consultant—diagnosing business problems, mapping processes, and systems, and formulating pragmatic AI, data, and automation solutions that drive measurable outcomes.

You will work shoulder‑to‑shoulder with Client‑Partner Sales, channel sellers, and customer stakeholders to translate business challenges into clearly scoped, technically sound, and commercially compelling AI, data, and technology services engagements.

Role Purpose

The Senior Solutions Consultant is accountable for solution quality, technical credibility, and business alignment during the sales cycle. This role ensures that every opportunity is grounded in real business problems, architected to fit the customer’s systems and operating model, aligned to Stellar’s delivery capabilities, and clearly positioned for value, feasibility, and scale.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary solutioning partner to sellers across discovery, value proposition, proposal, and negotiation stages.
  • Participate in customer and partner meetings to diagnose business problems, clarify objectives, and identify high‑value AI and automation opportunities.
  • Help sellers qualify opportunities by assessing business fit, technical feasibility, data readiness, and delivery complexity.
  • Translate ambiguous customer needs into structured solution concepts, phased roadmaps, and clear engagement scopes.
  • Business & Process Diagnosis
  • Analyze customer business processes, operating models, and decision flows.
  • Facilitate structured discovery sessions, workshops, and whiteboarding.
  • Identify friction created by manual work, tribal knowledge, or fragmented systems.
  • Connect pain points to outcomes such as cost reduction, speed, and scalability.
  • Solution Architecture & Technical Framing
  • Assess current‑state enterprise architecture.
  • Design high‑level architectures leveraging Microsoft Copilot, Power Platform, Azure AI, Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, and intelligent agents.
  • Define secure, responsible AI integration patterns.
  • Articulate assumptions, dependencies, and tradeoffs.
  • Commercial & Proposal Support
  • Contribute to proposals, SOWs, and solution briefs.
  • Help structure assessments, pilots, and phased delivery.
  • Balance customer value, feasibility, and margin.
  • Identify offering, packaging and accelerator opportunities.
  • Partner Engagement
  • Engage with Microsoft, Snowflake, Google, AWS and ecosystem partners.
  • Align solutions with co‑sell motions.
  • Serve as a technical counterpart to partner architects.
  • Internal Alignment & Handoff
  • Ensure clean handoff to delivery and engineering teams.
  • Capture field learnings to improve offerings.
  • Success Measures
  • High win rates.
  • Well‑scoped deals with minimal rework.
  • Positive customer feedback.
  • Alignment between sold and delivered outcomes.
  • Qualifications
  • 8–12+ years in consulting, solutions architecture, or pre‑sales.
  • Strong business process and systems analysis skills.
  • Deep understanding of AI, data, automation, and cloud platforms.
  • Experience supporting enterprise sales cycles.
  • Executive presence and communication skills.
  • Microsoft and/or Snowflake ecosystem experience preferred.
