Job Description
Infosys is looking for a Principal Technology Architect to join our Manufacturing Technology Consulting practice. In this role you will define and deliver next‑generation consulting services across Enterprise Architecture, Digital, Cloud, AI, IT Resiliency, and IT Security for leading global organizations worldwide.
As a key member of our strategy team, you will provide high‑end consulting to large enterprises, shaping their future‑state enterprise architecture and providing technology leadership and governance for transformation programs. You will collaborate with sales and delivery teams, identify technology opportunities, develop solution propositions, prototype solutions, and proactively move them to market.
Required Qualifications- At least 14 years of experience in Information Technology.
- Expertise in defining technology architecture and/or technology consulting in one or more of the following areas:
Enterprise Architecture, Digital, Cloud, AI, IT Resiliency, and IT Security. - Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Dallas, TX, Chicago, IL or be willing to relocate.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Three years of progressive experience in the specialty may substitute for each year of education.

- Industry standard certifications in cloud, data, analytics, and AI (AWS, GCP, Azure) and Enterprise Architecture certifications such as TOGAF.
- Experience leading and delivering one or more technology transformation programs with tangible business outcomes.
- Experience in a Chief Architect or Architecture Lead role, personally leading a team of architects within large programs and providing coaching and mentoring to ensure technology quality.
- Prior experience in software development, architecture, and design of large enterprise systems, including Java, J2EE, .NET, Microservices, Cloud native development, AI, ML, infrastructure as code, scripting, hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, GCP), and non‑functional requirements such as performance, resiliency, scalability, IT security, and Dev Sec Ops .
- Broad technical knowledge across the SDLC, including UX, non‑functional requirements, architecture, design, data, analytics, multi‑cloud scenarios, IT infrastructure, information security, responsible AI, APIs & microservices, application integration, and open‑source technologies.
- Depth in at least two of the aforementioned areas to drive end‑to‑end transformation solutions.
Job duties involve prolonged sitting and working at a computer for extended periods. Ability to communicate by telephone, email, or face‑to‑face is required. Travel may be required per the job requirements.
Compensation and BenefitsFor candidates based in Illinois, the estimated annual compensation range is $112,725 to $146,543. In addition to competitive pay, full‑time employees receive:
