IT Consultant, Technical Support
Job Description
Infosys is seeking an experienced Oracle HCM Cloud Technical Consultant with strong leadership skills. The consultant will interact with process consultants and business SMEs to understand and analyze processes. They should translate business requirements to solution design, communicate complex designs to stakeholders, and seek approvals. They must work in an on‑shore/off‑shore model, coordinating with development and support teams across continents, managing delivery and driving automation opportunities.

Hartford, CT. Relocation and/or travel may be required to client/project locations. - Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution (also considers ≥3 years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of education).
- 7+ years of IT experience.
- 3+ years of hands‑on experience with Core HR, recruitment, talent management.
- Experience implementing and configuring Oracle HCM Cloud – Core HR, Security, Compensation, Recruiting, Talent Management; driving discovery, business process re‑engineering, requirement elicitation, application configuration, and production deployments.
- Completed 2–3 Oracle HCM Cloud implementation projects.
- Technically functional or functional resource with an HCM domain background.
- Authorized to work in the United States without employer‑based visa sponsorship (Infosys cannot provide immigration sponsorship for this role).
- Knowledge of fast formulas, visual builder studio, HCM data loader, OTBI.
- Experience in solution design, POCs, issue troubleshooting.
- Production support – app upgrades, incident & service request resolution, problem solving, integration support.
- Enhancements/process improvements on Oracle HCM Cloud; consulting on budgeting and planning best practices.
- Documenting business requirements and creating solutions; providing technical guidance (design, model, configuration, troubleshooting).
- Working in a dynamic team offering global HR solutions, operational support, and leading change.
- Understanding of potential functional design issues; suggesting alternatives and supporting existing functionality and integrations; communicating status to management, issue, and risk management.
- Adherence to confidentiality requirements and effective problem‑solving on Oracle HCM Cloud.
- Leadership, coaching, mentoring to other members; experience or desire to work in a global delivery model.
